Sweater Help?

We are still waiting on Spring around here in New England. The time change is of no use to us when it is light out at 7:00 PM but so cold you wouldn't want to step foot outdoors! I still have snow in my yard. DH is out looking for extra wood pellets today to keep our stove running without having to resort to Oil at $3.69 a gallon in these here parts!

I have finished a lace scarf for a friend and gifted it to her without a picture. I am so bad at the picture thing, I know. Sorry. I am amazed that anyone wants to even visit this blog because there are never or hardly ever any pictures. Now with DH home 24/7 while on the job hunt, I have virtually no free time to be messing around with pictures. When I get home from work, he has been so bored all day that I find he needs my undivided attention!

Anyway, I am looking for some help please. I want to knit my grandson a sweater for his birthday in December. He will be 2 then. He currently wears size 18 months clothing. I need some suggestions for patterns as I am having a struggle at finding some good ones. Does anyone have any suggestions???

Cin, are you able to view my 'queue' in Ravelry? I have a lot of kid patterns in there, though the girl's styles far outweigh the boy's. Let me know if you can't access that, and I'll type out a list.
Off the top of my head, I love 'ocean waves' by peggy boisvert...but I'm partial to the nautical thing...

Yes Yes yes, I am able to access your ravelry queue. Thank you. I will grab a coffee and take a browse while DH is still out at his mandatory unemployment meeting. This is the first time since 2/4 I've been alone in my own house!
I do love him dearly (30 years this June) but just a half hour would be nice!!

Me too. I have several that I have knit for both girls and boys. I particularly like the red cabled ones. They fit the boys beautifully!
